I'm Francisco Vieira, a QA software tester working across web, mobile and apps. End-to-end testing at every level, AI-assisted testing in the day-to-day, and suites that run in the pipeline alongside the development cycle.

I am a QA software tester with experience across web, mobile and apps, working to deliver the best possible product quality. End-to-end testing at every level — exploratory sessions, functional and API testing, and automation — with the suites integrated into the delivery pipeline and matched to where the team is in the development cycle.
I came into QA after ten years in administration and customer care, which is where the habit of listening to the person on the other end comes from. I am currently finishing a B.Sc. in Informatics Engineering, and I build and publish websites on the side.

Using AI where it actually earns its place in the test cycle: drafting cases from acceptance criteria, exploring a product faster, generating run reports. It removes the repetitive part — deciding what is worth testing stays with me.

Designing and building web interfaces, with AI shortening the distance between an idea and a working page. It speeds up the typing, not the judgement: layout, typography, motion and accessibility are still decisions someone has to make.

Tests belong in the pipeline, not on someone's machine. Suites running on every merge, quality gates that block a bad release, and feedback fast enough that a developer fixes the defect while the code is still fresh.

Everything above serves one thing: what reaches the user has to work. Tools and process are means, never the point — and a defect caught before release is always cheaper than one caught by a customer.
Playwright suite covering an e-commerce site end to end, written as a technical exercise: search, product page and cart flows. Structured with the Page Object Model to keep selectors out of the tests, and containerised with Docker so the same run is reproducible on any machine or CI runner.
An internal dashboard I built for the team: it pulls the bugs straight from Jira and shows, on one screen, what is open, what state each one is in and who is working on it — with filters by status, priority and assignee. The point is that the team can read the state of quality without digging through Jira boards.
Cutting the repetitive part of the QA cycle with Claude Code and MCP integrations: pulling tickets from Jira, drafting test cases from the acceptance criteria, and generating run reports. The drafting is automated; the judgement about what is worth testing stays mine.
Testing on real devices and emulators with Android Studio and Xcode: installs, permissions, offline states, payment flows and the differences between platforms. Includes OTT streaming on a set-top box app and localisation across markets.

Ten years that built the soft skills I use in QA every day: clear communication with clients and teams, problem solving under time pressure, prioritisation and process management, and the patience to document a problem well enough that someone else can act on it.

ISTQB certified, plus more than forty certifications in test automation, APIs, security and development — most of them earned while moving from customer care into QA.
